7Seasons Lido Screening
In honour of Reconciliation Week, the 7Seasons team brings their documentary to Lido Cinemas on June 1st. Shot in 4K, the film celebrates Indigenous knowledge and the young people at the forefront of climate action — directed by Clancy Lester with cinematography by Max Shannon, the doco delves into the climate crisis in Melbourne, spotlighting Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung wisdom. Featured contributors include Jaeden Williams-Briggs (Yalukit Willam man of the Boonwurrung), Kai Lane (Yorta Yorta and Barapa Barapa), Ky-ya Nicholson (Wurundjeri, Dja Dja Wurrung and Ngurai illum Wurrung), Dr Kit 'Bee Babette' Prendergast and Dr Linden Ashcroft (climate scientist at University of Melbourne). The doco gives back to its First Nations contributors as ongoing support for their knowledge sharing.
