Art and Imagination at MPRG
Art and Imagination is a free, conversation-based program for people living with dementia and their carers. Based on the National Gallery of Australia's Art and Dementia program, it uses focused group discussions about artworks to encourage meaningful engagement, self-expression, and conversation. Sessions last about an hour and feature three to four artworks, with participants receiving printed copies to take home. For individuals and carers, sessions run on the last Wednesday of each month from 11amโ12pm; spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
