Australian Poetry Slam : Heat!
Melton Library and Learning Hub hosts an Australian Poetry Slam Heat on 10 September from 6pm to 8pm. Slam poets have two minutes on the mic to share their words with the community, competing to represent Melton at the Victorian State Final. The top 16 nationally compete at Sydney Opera House on 25 October for an international writers' festival tour prize. Registration opens at 5:30pm at 31 McKenzie Street, Melton.
