Become a Pool Lifeguard | Free Training for 17-24s (3/3)
A free three-day course for 17 to 24 year olds who live, work or study in Merri-bek, run over the July school holidays. Participants complete a First Aid Level 2 course and a Pool Lifeguard course, earning the SISSS00111 and First Aid HLTAID003 accreditations. The first session is at Oxygen Youth Space and the lifeguard sessions are at Coburg Leisure Centre, with the Merri-bek Youth team supporting participants to find local job opportunities. Facilitated by Lifesaving Victoria and supervised by Merri-bek Youth.
