Boot Scoot for BlazeAid is a bush dance fundraiser at The Meeting Place Main Hall at Murrumbeena Uniting Church, featuring Bushwahzee Bush Band. All dance steps are shown beforehand and called during the dancing, so no experience is needed. Entry includes a cuppa and cake, with raffle prizes and a best-dressed boots and hat prize. Tickets are $20 for adults, $40 for a family, and $15 concession, with extra donations welcome; funds go to BlazeAid, a volunteer charity that rebuilds fences and clears debris for rural families after bushfires, floods, and cyclones.
