Banyule's annual Breakfast with the Birds takes participants on a guided walk through Banyule Flats, one of the area's standout natural spaces, with local bird experts on hand to help spot and identify birdlife along the way. The walks follow pre-designed routes and mix in interesting facts about the birds you encounter. Afterwards, everyone heads back to the Old Shire Offices for a proper breakfast, along with time to rest, chat and hear from guest presenters. It's worth wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing weather-appropriate clothing, since the walk takes place outdoors regardless of conditions.
