Burnley Campus Discovery Day at the University of Melbourne Burnley Campus in Richmond runs 10:30am to 2:30pm and marks 135 years of continuous horticultural education. Highlights include tours of the green roof, Woody Meadow, field station and gardens, a plant sale, Friends of Burnley Gardens membership and book sale, Country Women's Association refreshments, Burnley Gardens Open Art Studio and Archives exhibitions, and garden advice. Visitors can also learn about research in horticulture, urban greening, waterways and ecology and chat to academics about study options.
