The morning begins with a cultural walk led by the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation's Education Unit, covering the cultural significance of the landscape and its waterways. Curly Sedge Creek flows into Merri Creek and is home to Melbourne's only known population of the endangered Curly Sedge, as well as the Growling Grass Frog.
