Senior Wurundjeri Environment Educator Joe Costello leads a cultural walk at Garambi Baanj — meaning 'laughing waters' in the traditional Woi wurrung language — at Yarra Braes Rd and Reynolds Rd, Eltham. Participants learn about the significant history of the land and the connection between Country and Wurundjeri culture. Garambi Baanj is described by the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation as one of only a few known remaining places of vital ecological and cultural significance.
