A free, all-ages outdoor celebration of music, dance and food at Coburg Lake Reserve, presented by Gamelan DanAnda and friends on Sunday 6 September. The afternoon features a 25-piece Balinese Gong Kebyar Gamelan Orchestra, interactive dance classes for all ages and abilities led by Balinese dancers from Suara Dance, a premiere of a new immersive work by artist Ria Soemardjo, Indonesian food from Diana's Kitchen (pre-ordering recommended as meals sell out), and a cross-genre collaboration with Ready New Gang, featuring musicians from The Living End and Augie March. No ticket required. The site is wheelchair-accessible, located next to a playground, and alcohol will not be served. Security and first aid are on-site.
