A celebration event for the group exhibition Inconvenient Women at the Eltham Library Community Gallery runs Thursday 24 September, 6pm to 8pm, and is free with all welcome and registration online. The exhibition celebrates women who challenge societal norms, with five artists exploring themes of identity, beauty and ageism through mixed media, textiles, paintings and costumes. Featured artists are Rebecca Armstrong, Kirsten Dunkley, Rose Chong, Susannah Low and Debra Billson.
