A subsidised cat desexing day at the Australian Animal Protection Society in Keysborough, run by Pets Of The Homeless to help pet owners with pensioner or concession cards access affordable vet care. $75 per cat includes desexing and microchipping (if needed); optional vaccination $45. Cats must be over 1kg, and there's a lifetime limit of 2 pets per household. Rescues and breeders are not eligible. A valid concession or pension card number is required at booking. Cats must be in secure carriers; e-collars are not included and must be purchased separately from the clinic.
