Head along to Make and Mend, a weekly sewing group at SPAN Community House in Thornbury. It's a peer-led space where beginners and confident stitchers alike gather to mend, make and swap skills, working with both machine and hand-sewing techniques. Bring your own project, whether that's visible mending, upcycling old clothes, quilting or working from a pattern. A relaxed, welcoming way to spend a few hours with fellow sewers in the community.
