Prehistoric Bayside Open Day (2pm–5pm session) at the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron showcases hundreds of fossils from Beaumaris and Black Rock, including fossil whales, sharks and Megalodon teeth. Palaeontologist Ben Francischelli will give a talk on the rise and fall of Killer Sperm whales and Livyatan. New 2025/26 citizen scientist discoveries will be on display, and an identification table is available for experts to analyse specimens you've found. Appropriate for all ages.
