Subverse Theatre presents a special preview of The Sacrifice of Farinelli at Bluestone Church Arts Space in Footscray. Inspired by real figures from the 1700s, the production features a unique sound design drawing on Vivaldi, Bach and Handel alongside modern music elements, live violin, immersive staging, and effects technology. The story follows composer Riccardo Broschi and his brother Carlo, who became the legendary castrato Farinelli.
