The Bluestone Ensemble performs a program exploring how composers across centuries have drawn on folk and Renaissance traditions, with works by Warlock, Vaughan Williams, Grieg and Ukrainian composers Shevchenko and Havrylets, alongside a new piece, Violin Armada, by local composer George Barsoum. Conducted by Misha Machlak, the concert is held at St John's Anglican Church in Malvern East. Early bird tickets are $20 until 20 September, rising to $25, with cash tickets also available at the door.
