The Joyful Place children's centre in Burwood turns one, and marks the occasion with a birthday bash designed for children aged roughly 5 to 10. Kids take part in three of the centre's big-kid programs: a collaborative birthday cake artwork with Joyful Art Club, a team challenge with RISE, and an activity with WOW. It runs from 2 to 5pm on Sunday 13 September at The Joyful Place on Cromwell Street.
