World Environment Day Celebration
Brimbank Council and Friends of Maribyrnong Valley are creating habitat along the Maribyrnong River at Caroline Chisholm Reserve in Keilor, celebrating World Environment Day and Friends of Maribyrnong Valley's 40th anniversary. The event includes a Welcome to Country from a Wurundjeri Traditional Owner, planting native shrubs and grasses, educational nature-based activities including the Connies, a light lunch and a plant giveaway. All welcome, kids encouraged when supervised by an adult.
