THREADS is a community photography exhibition at Artisans on Carlisle, 234 Carlisle Street, Balaclava, running 5 to 26 July. Open to photographers of all ages and skill levels, the exhibition explores the theme of human connection — belonging, care, resilience and shared humanity. Entry costs $10 per photograph with a limit of 3 per person. The opening and announcement of winners takes place at 4pm on Sunday 5 July, with awards including Community Choice, Best Human Connection, Best Community Story, Youth Award, and Local Lens Award.
