Connect with Country at Yaluk Barring Park in Keilor North with Park Ranger Ben Weber and Yorta-Yorta and Barapa-Barapa man and ecologist Kai Lane. The session includes observing and reading Country using First Nations Traditional Knowledge on a bushwalk, plus installing yedabila habitat pods (fish hotels) for native fish. Expect a guided walk of about 1.5-2 km return and a workshop of about 2 hours. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring a drink bottle. Families are welcome and children must be supervised. Brimbank City Council acknowledges the Wurundjeri Peoples as Traditional Custodians of the park.
