Creative Project Showcase

Participants of the Transit Creative Project 2026 present a one-off performance featuring two new dance works — one contemporary and one jazz — choreographed by Transit faculty and performed by the project participants. The Transit Creative Project is a four-day holiday intensive for dancers aged 12-25, working with Australian choreographers to create a 20-minute dance work. The project was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Community Dance at the 2019 Australian Dance Awards. Seats are strictly limited.
