FOR FREEDOM | Blame the Shadows
FOR FREEDOM is a single-channel video installation by Blame the Shadows, showing at Gasworks Creative Precinct. The 13-minute black-and-white work responds to themes of resilience, liberation and the collective struggle for justice, taking its cue from the slogan Woman, Life, Freedom. Two figures, one in white and one in black, move through a repeating choreography of erasure and reclamation. The work was made in collaboration with many contributors and supported by Footscray Community Arts, Arc Edit and Moodlab.
