Translations
Translations brings together current and alumni artists from the Gasworks Short-Term Studio Program: Romy Durrant, Caitlin E. Littlewood, Indya Pearce and Samuel Woodman. The show asks who decides which stories get told, how we remember them, and what changes as experience is rendered into art. Pearce draws on ancient mythologies and archetypes, Littlewood on the house as a physical and psychological space, while Durrant and Woodman both work through abstraction. The four artists meet at the points where one thing moves into another.
